History of Al Fahim
From small beginings as a trading company dealing in general merchandise in 1958, with only a handful of employees, Al Fahim Group has grown into not only one of the largest holding groups in Abu Dhabi, but one of the most successful business enterprises in the
United Arab Emirates.
Founded by (Late) Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, the Group has built its success on quality service in all its divisions. From the outset, the management displayed a pattern of forsight and planning, unique at a time when local trading conditions were still relatively undeveloped. It's a policy which has borne rich dividents in the ensuing decades of progress.
The Group has long comprised eight major companies, each operating successfully in widely diverse spheres. These are Al Jallaf Trading, Abdul Jalil Industrial Development, Emirates Motor Company, Emirates Property Investments, Abdul Jalil Travel Agency, Central Motors, Eastern Motors and Western Motors. A vital part of the Group's activities concenrs sponsorships and joint industrial ventures, in keeping with the corporate policy of constant expansion and progress.
The Group also owns & manages the following 5 hotels in Dubai & Abu Dhabi: Crown Plaza Dubai, Crown Plaza Abu Dhabi, Hilton Corniche Residence Abu Dhabi, Sands Hotel Abu Dhabi & Dalma Center Abu Dhabi.
Al Fahim Group today employs some 1700 poeple, with company general managers handpicked for their experience and expertise. Group philosphy demands that all efforts are made to train and improve management and general staff, for these are the people responsible for all acheivements so far.
